One of her friends (another bored housewife) recommends that she gets a day job as a high-class prostitute. The main character is a beautiful, bored housewife whose husband neglects her. This is a movie with a stereotyped plot, yet one which began with a lot of promise that was ultimately squandered. Next thing she knew, she was running around stark naked in every movie throughout her career. She took those too because nothing else was coming in. But then the next offer came up, and the next one, and they all required nudity. She said she was a nervous wreck the first time she took her clothes off on set in front of everyone, and was thankful she'd never have to do it again. He agreed but told her to never do nudity again. After discussing it with her manager, she decided to take it. But after the audition they offered her a substantial role that required being naked. He sent her to audition for a non-nude role in this film because it was a union production and she needed your a SAG card. In fact, her manager told her to never do nudity because it would kill her career. Parent said in a 2004 interview that her plans when she started her career weren't to "run around stark naked in movies." She said she didn't choose softcore it chose her.
